SAT and ACT Test Optional Schools

SUNY campuses will not require SAT and ACT standardized testing for rising high school seniors enrolling in bachelor degree-granting campuses. The move will apply only to the spring 2021, fall 2021, and spring 2022 cycles only.

Every college and university is different and each has unique admission  requirements. Although many will require submission of standardized test scores, such as the ACT and SAT, some colleges do not.

Students should always check with the colleges for their current admission requirements.
